The People Behind The Care
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
At Hillbrook Grange, care starts with people, and ours are truly special.
Many of our team have been with us for years, some for decades. That kind of continuity isn’t just rare - it’s the heartbeat of our home. It means familiar faces, trusted relationships, and a depth of understanding that can’t be rushed.
From the carers and kitchen team to our managers and maintenance staff, every person here shares one thing in common: a deep commitment to helping our residents feel known, safe, and truly at home.
We don’t just work here.
We belong here.
And we think you’ll feel that the moment you walk through the door.

Home Manager
Rosaleen Charles
I have dedicated my career to the care sector since 1989. Over the decades, I have received multiple awards in recognition of my outstanding contributions to dementia care. Throughout my career, I have been instrumental in assessing and improving care environments, and championed a more personal, individualised approach to care—tailoring support to meet the unique needs of each person. My leadership style is grounded in compassion, respect, and a deep understanding of what makes care truly person-centred.
In 2021, I joined Hillbrook Grange, where I have continued my commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive and compassionate environment.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, going on adventures, and relaxing with my crochet. Recently our family adopted a rescue dog named Meadow from Manchester Dogs Home, who has quickly become a much-loved companion.

Family is everything to me, I am a proud mum to three wonderful boys who inspire and motivate me every day. The boys and I, also share our life with Margot, our adorable French Bulldog, who is just a ball of fun.
When I’m not at work, you will most likely find me walking with Margot, practicing daily yoga (with Margot) or spending time with my family and friends. My hobbies and interest include yoga, reading, lots of walking and the boxing. I love to watch the boxing!
